Hi, I’m Charlene!
I’m a Filipino-American calligrapher, hand-letterer, artist, and owner of Charligraphy.
I’m a self-taught artist with a passion for transforming words into art. My calligraphy and lettering journey started in 2016. I filled sketchbooks with calligraphy and hand-lettered quotes from books, lyrics, and whatever my roomie and I were binging at the time. After curating signage for a wedding, I found a love for creating art for someone’s special moments. What started as a passion project grew into a creative business - Charligraphy launched in 2018.
When I’m not playing with words and colors, I’m teaching them to my son. During my me-time, I like to lose myself in inspiration. From the endless social scrolling to Pinterest boards - I love stumbling upon a meaningful quote, pretty pictures, or creative typography.
And if I’m not doing any of the above, I’m out discovering something new to eat, somewhere cute to shop, or looking for an iced coffee.
My journey into the world of calligraphy and lettering has been one of dedication and endless creativity, and I’m so excited to share it with you!

We create hand-lettered and vinyl signage; such as seating charts, welcome signs, bar signs, and custom pieces. We also provide handwritten and printed day-of stationery such as vow books, menus, place cards, and programs.
